Well Site Geologist

- Required to perform rig-up and rig-downs. - Responsibility to decide when drilling should be suspended or stopped. - Compile reports and logs of the drilling process, as well as a final well report. - Supervise every stage of the drilling process - Study, analyse, evaluate and identify the rock formation into which they are drilling in order to direct the drilling process - Responsible for liaising with mudloggers and drilling engineers to ensure the drilling goes off without a hitch, as well as making sure that it follows the correct health and safety procedures. - Collect drilling cuttings for geotech sampling - Update mining software with data obtained through analysis - Ensure all tasks performed are subject to the standards.

- Male - Associates Degree or Higher in Geology, Earth Sciences or Engineering - Minimal having 2 years’ experience - General mechanical abilities: Computer skills
